Cleveland Technologies Group operate an environmental policy to minimize its effect on the environment
In the pursuit of environmental best practices, we have set ourselves the following goals:
Legislative Compliance
To comply with and, where appropriate, exceed all UK legislative requirements.
Energy Monitoring
To monitor and assess the Company's energy usage with information used to set energy saving targets which are regularly reviewed.
Energy and Fuel Consumption
To actively seek the most energy efficient appropriate equipment at the time of replacing or adding new equipment or vehicles
Waste Management
To continually review waste disposal methods, including collection arrangements
Waste Minimisation / Recycling Initiatives
To reduce consumption of materials in all operations and, whenever feasible, reuse rather than dispose and promote recycling and the use of recycled materials.
Emissions
To monitor emissions wherever risk may exist. Where appropriate this information will be used to set targets for the reduction of pollutants into the atmosphere.
Hazardous Substances
To continually reduce the amounts of hazardous substances used in process and to regularly review alternative processes.
Procurement
To ensure our supplier base is environmentally aware of our needs and works with us to help to meet our goals, and to assess the environmental practices of our key suppliers.

Market products that are safe to use, make efficient use of resources, and which can be reused, recycled or disposed of safely.
