Axicon 15000 series verifiers are commonly used to support Unique Device Identification (UDI) and pharmaceutical labelling requirements, including the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD).
FMD requires prescription medicines to carry a 2D Data Matrix barcode encoding a unique serial number, product code, expiry date and batch number. These barcodes must be printed and verified to ISO standards to ensure reliable scanning throughout the healthcare supply chain.

Axicon Training, Certification & Demonstrations
Axicon Verifier Certification and Calibration
Weyfringe are an Axicon Verifier Certification Centre, able to test and certify Axicon verifiers to their original ISO standards.
Certification is recommended annually, after impact or damage, or where equipment is used in harsh environments.
Units that pass certification are issued with a compliance certificate. Where required, Weyfringe can also arrange repair, recalibration and loan equipment to minimise downtime.
Certification is by prior arrangement and can often be completed within 3 working days.
Training and Operator Support
